Leslie Gower
Leslie Gower is a strategic executive with more than 25 years experience in management for local, national, and international member-based organizations, private businesses, non-profits, and places. In her early career, she led public relations and administrative efforts for association management firms in Detroit, Washington, DC and Atlanta before moving back to her hometown Memphis where she directed marketing and communications departments for a variety of businesses and non-profits.
For 17 years, she held a visible and influential community position as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Downtown Memphis Commission, serving as the full service in-house public relations, marketing, communications, design and events agency for the organization.
Today, Leslie is a recognized business leader in Chattanooga and Memphis, working with private industry, public/private partnerships, and non-profits on initiatives to impact communities.
